Outfit Post: A Touch of Color

While we are spring ahead this week...I had to take advantage of the warmer weather last week, where taking your jacket off doesn't mean a chance of pneumonia. Yes, 50 degrees in the middle of January is warm for us New Yorkers. Even in the mornings, when these photos were taken, it was much more mild then say a week or two before. I much rather have a cool crisp winter then a freezing cold one. I love wearing hats and layers but I also like having to get away with not having to wear boots and heavy socks all the time. This outfit alone reminds me of Spring with it's brightly contrasting colors. Pink and red is one of my favorite color blocking mixes, maybe because they are in the same color family...I don't know what it is...but I love it.

谈谈中国的教育

寒假过去了大半，上班的上班，学习的学习，只有我一人闲来无事，得找点大事干干，呵呵！那就谈谈中国的教育吧！说说个人的想法。

如今的舆论导向对中国的教育是批得体无完肤，说中国的教育不知毁了多少聪明的孩子，压抑了多少孩子的天性和创造力。作为一名一线的教师，看了心里很难过，我一直以为我在从事着太阳下最光辉的工作，没想到……

其实中国教育有自己的特点，可以这么说，是有着符合中国现阶段国情的优点，中国教育知识传授比较系统，基础打得比较好，对孩子们的智力开发的较好，14亿人口的中国，一个班七，八十人，激烈的竞争，使学生能吃苦，责任感强。所以我们常常在媒体报道上看见某某孩子在中国时在班上成绩如何如何的差，可是到了外国，成绩优异，最后进入世界知名大学，毕业后成为世界知名学者。记者们看见了他在国外的辉煌，从而大肆否定中国的教育，记者们犯了几个大错误：一是没有看见他的坚实基础却是中国教育的功劳，二是以偏概全，用特例代表一般，用某一个人的成功例子来代表全中国的孩子，否定整个中国教育，真是可笑。中国用几十年的时间走了欧美用几百年走的路，中国教育功不可没。

Fog, haze disrupt roads, flights in China

Light fog hung over North China on Friday, causing the suspension of flights and closure of expressways, while most parts of East China were affected by haze, meteorological authorities said.

  In Beijing, air pollution was severe and the situation will not be alleviated until this afternoon, the Beijing Municipal Environmental Monitoring Center said.
